First trip to The Zoo

Last week my precious friend Lindsey came in town. She too is a new mother and a stay at home mom. She and I have been friends for years and it is so fun to watch our lives unfold. It kinda feels like we are "growing up" together. She always seems to be a few steps ahead of me....so I enjoy learning from her! She has been married for 4 years and now has a 6 month old. His name is Andrew and he is fabulous. ( You know, we could actually bring back "arranged marriages" :-)
Anyway, Lindsey and Andrew stayed with us for 4 days and we had a BLAST!! One of my favorite moments with Linz was trying to figure out how in the world we were going to fit not one, but TWO STROLLERS in the trunk! Oh, what a sight that was.
If you know us you will be able to picture this. Lindsey is thinking through the best way to position the strollers and line them up to fit.......Well, when it was my turn to try.....I tried to SHOVE the strollers into the trunk! Of course that didn't work, so I just SHOVED harder!

Charis didn't enjoy seeing the giraffe, but she sure did enjoy her 2 hour nap!!!
Here I am with my sleepng baby. She missed out on the excitement of this camel.

Look.....I'm a MOM!! It still hits me sometimes and I just want to do somersalts!!!
